Stephen Tinsley

Director of Investigations

Stephen Tinsley is a licensed private investigator and brings decades of law enforcement and investigative experience to Tinsley Investigations, including service as a GBI Special Agent, DEA Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent, and Sheriff. His background includes major criminal investigations, federal investigative work, interviews, surveillance, case strategy, and courtroom experience. He provides seasoned investigative judgment and a practical understanding of how evidence, people, and circumstances fit together in complex cases.

April Tinsley is a licensed private investigator/security guard, former law enforcement investigator, and licensed pharmacist with more than two decades of professional experience involving investigations, evidence, interviews, documentation, and courtroom testimony. Her background includes criminal investigations, drug diversion cases, crimes against children, surveillance, and complex fact development. She brings a detail-oriented approach to cases and focuses on producing clear, useful information that clients and attorneys can act on.

Local Investigative Experience in Vidalia, Lyons, and Toombs County

Vidalia is the largest city in Toombs County and serves as a commercial hub for the surrounding rural communities of east-central Georgia. Together with nearby Lyons, the county seat, the area combines busy commercial corridors with residential neighborhoods, agricultural land, and rural roads extending throughout Toombs County and into neighboring counties.
